This page explains what Local Afrobeat Show (“we”) collects when you use localafrobeatshow.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. The site is operated from Los Angeles, California by Kobi Jonz / WeWoke Music Group.

What we collect

Why we collect it

What is shown publicly

Only a review you have explicitly approved for display is published, and only the name, company, city, event type, date, rating and comment you provided. Email addresses are never published and are never shown anywhere on the site. Booking enquiries are never published.

Advertising and analytics

We use the Meta pixel to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to booking enquiries. It records that a page was viewed and that an enquiry was submitted, and it may set cookies. It does not receive the contents of your enquiry. You can control this through your Meta ad preferences, your browser cookie settings, or a tracking blocker. The site uses no other analytics or advertising trackers.

Who else sees your data

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests and stores review submissions, and uses Cloudflare Email Routing to deliver enquiries to our inbox. Scheduling a call uses Cal.com, which has its own privacy policy. Embedded videos are served by YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and an embedded player is provided by Spotify; both may set cookies once you press play. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries stay in our email for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and keep ordinary business records. Reviews are kept while they remain published. You can ask us to delete either at any time.

Your choices

Write to booking@localafrobeatshow.com to ask for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to take a published review down. We will action deletion requests within 30 days. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you these rights explicitly, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined there. If you are in the UK or EU, the UK GDPR / GDPR gives you equivalent rights; our lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our own services.

Children

This site is for booking professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
